Tooleras provides free online tools and editorial articles for general informational and educational purposes. The content on this site is not a substitute for professional advice. Read the section below that fits the tool or article you're using before relying on its output for anything that matters.
General disclaimer
We try to keep tools accurate and articles current, but we make no representations or warranties about completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability, or availability. Any reliance you place on outputs of the site is at your own risk. The site is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. See our Terms of Service for the full warranty disclaimer.
Financial calculators
Tooleras includes mortgage calculators, refinance calculators, auto-loan calculators, credit-card payoff calculators, salary calculators, retirement calculators, compound-interest calculators, and similar tools. These calculators are simplified models. They produce estimates based on the values you enter and the assumptions described on the tool page or in associated articles. They are not:
- Quotes or offers from any lender, bank, or financial institution
- Substitutes for advice from a licensed financial advisor, mortgage professional, certified public accountant, or estate attorney
- Guarantees of approval, rates, fees, or outcomes
- Accounts of how a specific lender will calculate your payment, since real loan agreements use specific daily-balance methods, fee schedules, payment-allocation rules, and underwriting policies
Real-world loans, taxes, and investments depend on your full financial situation, the lender's underwriting, applicable laws, current market conditions, and many other factors that a calculator cannot model. Before making a financial decision based on output from this site, talk to a qualified professional and read the actual contract or disclosure.
Tax and accounting tools
Salary, paycheck, and tax-related tools use simplified rules and may not reflect every applicable federal, state, or local tax. Tax law changes. Different filing situations, deductions, credits, and benefits apply to different households. Use these tools to get a rough sense of an outcome, then consult a qualified tax professional or your tax authority before filing.
Health, fitness, and lifestyle calculators
Tools such as BMI calculators, age calculators, and similar utilities are general-purpose computations. They are not medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment plans. If you have questions about your health, talk to a licensed healthcare provider.
Legal and policy generators
Tooleras may include privacy-policy generators, terms-of-service generators, license generators, and similar utilities. These produce general-purpose templates based on common patterns. They are not legal advice. They do not guarantee compliance with any particular law, including but not limited to GDPR, CCPA, COPPA, HIPAA, ePrivacy directives, or industry-specific regulations. Consult a qualified attorney before adopting any generated text for a real product or service.
Security tools
Tools such as password generators, hash generators, JWT decoders, encoding utilities, RSA key generators, and similar security-adjacent utilities are reference and debugging utilities. They are not professional security audits, penetration tests, threat assessments, or compliance verifications. Use them to inspect, debug, and learn. Do not use them as the only check for production credentials, signing keys, authentication systems, or any system whose compromise could cause harm.
Generated values such as passwords, tokens, and keys are produced in your browser using your browser's cryptographic primitives. Their strength depends on the implementation provided by your browser. For high-stakes secrets, generate keys on a trusted machine using vetted, regularly updated tooling and store them in a system designed for secret management.
Accessibility tools
Color contrast checkers, ARIA reference tools, and similar utilities help with parts of the WCAG conformance picture. They do not certify that a website or product meets WCAG 2.1, WCAG 2.2, ADA, EN 301 549, or any other accessibility standard. Full conformance evaluation requires manual testing with assistive technologies and review by accessibility experts.
Network and lookup tools
Tools such as IP lookup, DNS lookup, HTTP headers lookup, and SSL checker query third-party services or your local browser environment to provide diagnostic information. The data they return reflects what those services or your browser report at that moment and may be incomplete, cached, or inaccurate. Use them as a quick reference, not as authoritative records for compliance, legal, or operational decisions.
Image, PDF, and file tools
Image and PDF tools do their work in your browser. Output quality depends on browser support for the relevant formats and on the input file. We don't guarantee that any particular file will round-trip without changes; some metadata, color profiles, or rare format features may be normalized or removed. Always keep the original file if you need it later.
Editorial articles
Long-form articles published on the Tooleras blog reflect a moment in time and the author's research and perspective. We cite primary sources where we can. Standards, library versions, vulnerability disclosures, browser support, and best practices change. Always check the cited sources and current documentation before applying article guidance to a real system.
External links
We link to external resources for context, citation, and depth. We don't control external sites and aren't responsible for their content, accuracy, or availability. The presence of a link does not imply endorsement of the linked party or its content.
Advertising
We display advertising on the site, including ads served by Google AdSense. Ads are clearly distinguishable from editorial content. The presence of an ad does not imply endorsement of the advertiser or the linked product or service.
Affiliate or partner relationships
Where Tooleras participates in affiliate or partner programs, we will say so on the relevant page. Even where we may receive a referral fee, we choose what to link to based on quality, not solely on payment. As of the date of this page, we have no active paid affiliate relationships.
Contact
If a tool, calculator, article, or page on this site is wrong, outdated, or misleading, please tell us through the contact form. We'd rather fix it than have it stay wrong.
